In this episode, David and Ebony discuss human rights across society. They will talk about how  LGBTQ people of color are most commonly victims of police brutality, racial profiling and economic inequality.

Queer Justice

In this episode we will be touching on the heavy subject of the homelessness epidemic in America and specifically how it affects Queer + Trans youth. We will also be talking to Skye Adrian, an independent Youth Activist for LGBT Youth Homelessness, HIV Prevention, and Youth Immigrations Services to get their input on this issue.

Gender Benderz seeks to open up a dialogue for people who are bending the gender rules, giving them room to explore, question, and affirm their identity. Here to talk about this topic are Lawrence Tantay, LGBTQI Health Equity Specialist with the Center for Health Equity and Maxx, Staten Island NYC Teen Connection Youth Leader.

NIGHTCAP

Watch NIGHTCAP’s' first roundtable discussion with gay rapper Archie Hollywood and transgender woman Tiffany Berutti, who will discuss LGBTQ representation in television.

Find out what they think about reality TV producer Mona Scott and her gay plot in “Love and Hip-Hop;” the double-standard between gay and heterosexual sex scenes on “Empire;” and the handling of the transgender role on “Orange is the New Black.” To close the show, enjoy a performance by rapper Cruzer Santana.
