The Youth channel has a new website with a sleek new look. They are also expanding their presence in multiple websites throughout the Internet (See links below). The new website has developed an easier way to browse through information that the younger generation needs; more workshops, more training, and more interaction between the MNN Youth Channel and their viewers. Please stay tuned to visit this powerful new website for the next generation.

We provide services through training and hands-on experience in all aspects of television production. We also offer internships, summer youth video programs, in-house productions, special events, free workshops, and studio tours. The production-intensive internship program has been offering high-quality field and in-studio training since Youth Channel’s inception in 2000. Youth Channel also invites youth interested in media to apply for Y.M.I.C (Youth Media Impacting Community), a quarterly internship program that offers media training and community service experience through partnership with local grassroots organizations.

Currently, YC programs 22 hours of youth-produced per week on MNN's channel 34, which reaches up to 9 million viewers. By nurturing free speech and diverse voices, Youth Channel hopes to empower young people to become active participants in creating media that will have lasting impacts in their communities.
